Mobile Crane Technician
The technician position is responsible for performing inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of cranes and equipment and/or
related equipment to provide mechanical services that satisfy customer needs and achieve departmental goals. This position
is for the 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Requirements:
· Must be able to pass both drug and background screenings
· Must have a valid Driver’s License
· Must have a dependable transportation to & from work
· Knowledge of Boom truck Cranes, Rough terrain, All-Terrain, Lattice Boom Crawler, Articulating Boom Cranes, Telescopic
Crawler Crane
· Be able to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and troubleshoot systems

Essential Functions:
· Monitors physical requirements for work completion (facilities, tools, environmental) and communicates same on an
ongoing basis to his/her supervisor
· Models and reinforces company policies/practices to ensure that work is performed in alignment with the company's
mission, vision, and values
· Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures
· Provides quality control/assurance inspections of completed tasks
· Disassembles and assembles machine components to the manufacturer's specifications through the use of hand tools,
pneumatic tools, and any specialized tooling
· Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions and maintains equipment and components
· Demonstrates good customer relations and support; communicates customer needs to shop management
· Identify parts to complete the job
· Maintains all equipment and work areas - keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition
· Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and
standards
· Works overtime as required by workload and customers' needs
· Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Extensive knowledge of cranes and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
· Equipment selection skills - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
· The ability to operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions
· Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair
· The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or
assemble very small objects
· The ability to read, write, and understand information
· The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Ability to work independently

Travel:

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue

· Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
